Alternatives

While The New York Pass is by far the best known, there are good alternatives. The alternatives are particularly interesting if you only want to do 1-2 attractions per day:

New York CityPass/C3

With the New York CityPass, you can visit five main attractions in New York for US$129 (~€120) and save money if you wanted to visit at least 3 to 4 of the attractions anyway. In contrast to the New York Pass, you basically have nine days for the five attractions.

The following attractions are available:

1. Empire State Building
2. American Museum of Natural History + one temporary exhibit
3. Guggenheim Museum or Top of the Rock
4. Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island or Circle Line Cruises
5. Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum or 9/11-Memorial and Museum

Alternatively, the same provider also offers the New York C3 for US$87 (~€81): You can simply choose three attractions from the attractions of the CityPass + MoMA, The Edge & Hornblower. This pass is also valid for nine days.

New York Explorer Pass

With the New York Explorer Pass from Go City, you can buy access to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 10 out of a total of 95 attractions and have 90 days from activation to redeem them.
