Malaysian low cost carrier AirAsia currently offers a discount on all its tickets. This promotion is valid for their entire network and all classes. Malaysian domestic oneways go as low as US$4 (~€4), flights to Bali are at US$30 (~€28) and Australia costs US$37 (~€34) within a travel period from September 7, 2020 through July 1, 2021.
There is no expiration date, but these promotions usually sell out pretty fast.

Air Asia operates a huge network linking multiple Asian and Australian airports. They make it easy for you to find their lowest fares by implementing a calendar similiar to that of Google Flights:
It really pays off playing around with possible origins and destinations. The cheapest fares can usually be found from Air Asia’s hub Kuala Lumpur.
You can save a little more by signing up to AirAsia’s BIG frequent flyer program. If you provide it with your credit card data, you won’t pay any processing fees when purchasing flights. Adding checked bags will get slightly cheaper as well:
Since the discount adds up to little more than €15 in total (less than €2 on domestic flights), it really is personal decision if you sign up to BIG or not. Joining the program is free.
No Frills
Because AirAsia is a dedicated low cost carrier, board service and hold luggage come at an extra price. But especially luggage fees are moderate compared to European and North American Airlines, adding around €6 on short haul flights and €19 on long haul flights.
