The 4-star ARCadia hotel in Budapest is currently selling its rooms for merely €38 per night if you’re traveling in January or February. You can also pay €50 in November, December, and March. Usually, this hotel tends to charge roughly €80 per night, so that’s quite a big discount.
The deal has two downsides: it is non-refundable, and breakfast is not included. Breakfast for two would increase the price by €24. However, the extremely low price really does make up for these minor disadvantages.
The Hotel
The ARCadia Hotel Budapest is an elegant 4-star hotel, that will welcome you offering nice views of the city. Wi-Fi is included for all guests. The hotel also offers a small kid’s room and a bar.
The hotel has gotten mixed reviews. Most guests have complimented the hotel’s location (both for sights, restaurants, and public transit), as well as its friendly and professional staff, especially at the front desk. On the other hand, some guests have complained about the bathroom’s cleanliness and felt that the rooms were a bit out-of-date and that they could be quieter.
The hotel’s location is hard to beat, as it is located in the 7th district, which is full of Jewish history and contemporary buildings. You’ll have no problems finding something to do close to the hotel, as well as places to eat. And thanks to the good public transportation network, you’ll reach any sight within minutes. The Hungarian Parliament Building, for instance, is only a 2-minute metro drive away.
Price Comparison
These prices of €38 – €50 can only be found during the winter. Otherwise, the hotel tends to charge between €80 – €90. That means that you’ll be paying roughly half the usual price! Of course, Budapest is cold in the winter, but that doesn’t make the city any less beautiful.
