Carnival Panorama: 7-Night West Mexican Cruises from Los Angeles at €549 / $588 P.p. + Tips (Outside Cabin)

carnival panorama

While Carnival cruises are often within this price range, it’s hard to find a nice ship with consistently nice prices, even in summer or a week before Christmas. That’s why a 7-night Mexican cruise from Los Angeles (Long Beach) at just €447 (~US$481) is definitely something to look at. There are sailing dates almost every week even during the Summer period.

These are some interesting departure dates:

  • April 15-22, 2023: €447 (~US$481) (Inside cabin)
  • August 5-12: €523 (~US$563) (Inside cabin)
  • September 2-9 (US Labor Day): €540 (~US$581) (Inside cabin)
  • September 16-23 & 23-30: €559 (~US$602) (Outside cabin)
  • December 9-16: €549 (~US$591) (Outside cabin)

The fare includes full-board dining with drinks at meals and taxes. However, you need to pay an additional 8 x US$16 (~€15) = US$128 (~€118) per person for gratuities. ifd you’re unsatisfied with the service, you could adjust the amount at the guest services.

The Ship

The ship started sailing in late 2019, so it is still relatively new. And as with all new-generation ships, you can find interesting facilities onboard. Of course, there is a buffet and a seated restaurant, free and extra speciality restaurants and bars. And just like on its competitor, Symphony of the Seas, there is a big (European standards) candy shop onboard.

But food is not the only interesting thing onboard. Of course, there is a theatre, spa, gym and a Carnival must: a casino. There are pools, jacuzzis, a sports park and an aqua park. There is a SkyZone climbing hall and a climbing park on the top floor. If you wouldn’t want to climb but still take in the panorama (not the ship!), you can ride through the zip-line bike, SkyRide. But if you don’t want adrenaline, and just want to relax (without kids), there is a Serenity adult-only retreat: an area all about relaxation.

This is how the cabins look like:

Adrenaline? Of course:
