At the moment, there is quite an interesting deal for the 4-star Das Tigra hotel in Vienna on Travelzoo – the very same hotel in which Mozart stayed in 1762. You can get one night in a Comfort room for €111. Breakfast is included, and the rate can be cancelled free of charge. There is availability until November and you can buy these vouchers until May 30, 2022, unless they’re sold out earlier.
This deal is available on the French Travelzoo website. If you don’t speak French, we recommend that you use a browser that can translate the site for you. Once you’ve bought the voucher, you’ll be able to view it on the English Travelzoo site as well. Redeeming the voucher at the hotel is also possible in English.
Here’s how it works: You buy a Travelzoo voucher for one night and one for each additional night if you want to stay longer. Afterwards, you reserve your desired date directly at the hotel (calling or via email), using the voucher. Of course, it could be that the hotel has no availability on the dates you want. In any case, you can simply return the voucher to Travelzoo until November 14, 2022, and your money will be refunded. If you have already redeemed the voucher, you can still cancel the reservation up to 7 days before arrival.
If you’re unsure about how many nights you’re going to stay, simply buy a few extra vouchers. Once you’ve decided, you can just get a refund for the ones you bought in excess.

The Hotel
The 4-star Das Tigra hotel is a warmly decorated 4-star hotel with large rooms that have a great shower, located within walking distance of Café Central and the Spanish Riding School.
The hotel has received very good reviews from previous guests, many of them complimenting the location, atmosphere, and bar.
Being located in the Innere Stadt neighbourhood, the hotel’s location is excellent. The famous St. Stephen’s Cathedral, for instance, is only a 10-minute walk away. You’re also only a 6-minute walk away from the U3 subway station Herrengasse. Last but not least, you won’t have any trouble finding a good restaurant close to the Das Tigra.
Price Check
While you’re paying €111 per night at Travelzoo, you’d have to pay roughly €155 for a slightly smaller Smart & Cosy room, if you booked the refundable rate including breakfast directly at the hotel. By booking through Travelzoo, you’re saving at least 25%, and you get a better room.
