The Star Alliance member SWISS and its subsidiary Edelweiss are selling cheap tickets for flights to Ho Chi Minh City. Departing from Paris, Nice or Bordeaux prices start at 383€ for a round-trip – one piece of checked luggage is already included. Availability is good in January and February 2020. The perfect time to visit Vietnam!
All routings include a layover in Zurich, from where Edelweiss will fly you to your destination city. The carrier operates an Airbus A340 on the way to Vietnam. You shouldn’t expect a premium travel experience. But the planes are apparently quite new inside and the 11+ hours flight should be bearable.
Search & Book
The fare rules state that this deal is available until May 16th for travel commencing on or before March 31st, 2020. We’ve been able to find connections all year long, but prices start to drop by the end of November. From there on, you’ll find see offers for under 400€, just as we promote it here.
You have to stay for at least 3 days or until the first Saturday or Sunday after your arrival. But for a trip like this, the maximum stay requirements of 3 months should be more interesting.
Use Google Flights (instructions) to check, which dates could fit your schedule. Book directly on SWISS’ website or use Skyscanner to find an OTA (Online Travel Agency) that will save you some extra Euros. Tickets will be issued in booking class K.
