If you only need a one-way ticket from Asia to Europe, you can currently get a good bargain with Finnair. The Oneworld member offers one-way flights from Bangkok to Europe starting at €157. There’s availability until April 2022 (or even longer for some European destinations).

This price includes hand luggage (55 x 40 x 23 cm) and a personal item (40 x 30 x 15 cm). Both together must not weigh more than 8 kg. Checked baggage costs extra, however. If your hand luggage is not enough for you, the best thing to do is to book the Economy Campaign Classic fare with 23 kg of luggage, starting at €207. Frequent flyers with Sapphire or Emerald status can also check in a suitcase weighing up to 23 kg free of charge in the light fare.

Tickets can be rebooked without a rebooking fee, but the price difference will have to be paid. More on this on
