Star Alliance
We found cheap flights to Almaty from the following French airports:
We also found similar prices to Nur-Sultan:
Usually, the price difference between both airlines is less than €15, so you can really select your flights based on your personal preferences. Both airlines fly to Almaty with an Airbus A330, but Lufthansa stops in Nur-Sultan on the way. If you fly to Nur-Sultan with Turkish Airlines, you’ll be flying on a Boeing 737.
Search & Book
For both airlines, using Google Flights is the easiest way to find availability. Once you’ve found your preferred dates from your city, our Travel-Dealz flight search will find you the cheapest price. You can also book directly at the airline (lufthansa.com or turkishairlines.com) if you prefer. We’ve gathered the most important information from both airlines’ fare rules:
Turkish Airlines Fare Rules
Turkish Airlines’ flights have to be booked before August 31, 2019. The flights have to be flown before December 20th, or between January 1st and March 31st, 2020. While there are no minimum stay requirements, the trip length is limited to 1 month.
Lufthansa Fare Rules
Lufthansa does not state an expiration date for these prices, neither does Lufthansa state a specific travel period. Only a minimum stay of 3 days (or a Sunday) and a maximum of 12 months is specified.
Miles
Both airlines won’t get you many miles. A Paris-Almaty roundtrip with Turkish Airlines (booking class W) will only get you 1,900 miles at Turkish’s own Miles&Smiles program. Flying with Lufthansa (booking class K) gives you a few more options, even if not very lucrative ones:
- 2,066 Miles on ANA Mileage Club
- 1,832 Award Miles + 160 Points on Miles&More
- 1,832 Points on SAS EuroBonus
- 1,722 Award Miles + 344 PQP on United MileagePlus
- 1,722 CV Points on Vistara Club Vistara
