Nowadays, it feels like IHG‘s IHG One Rewards is giving away “free” points. The hotel group has just published its Cyber Monday sale, in which it gives you 10,000 bonus points for every two qualifying nights at IHG properties this year. Sounds familiar? It’s because IHG’s 10Kfor4 and 2Kfor2 promotion is still running. Combining the two offers (which is possible according to the terms & conditions) can get you up to 30,000 bonus points for a 4-night stay.
The only downside is that you have to register and book your stay by midnight on Tuesday in your profile’s time zone. A night costing more than US$30 (~€28) in the local currency counts as a qualifying night – award nights are excluded.
Also, the status challenge promotion is also still valid. For a 6-night stay, you can get a platinum status, your original point earnings and 40,000 points.
Search & Book
Unless you’re travelling to China or Latin America, you’ll barely find IHG properties for €30. However, there are some good deals in Europe: The Holiday Inn Algarve costs €44 per night on most days in early December (We have a deal for that!). While you would normally get 1,637 points for this stay, you can get 31,637 points (and if you didn’t miss the instant Diamond deal, you will get another 1,637 points)
There’s also a pretty sweet offer in Vilnius, The Crown Plaza Vilnius costs just €50 per night with an original earnings of only 1,778 points. Instead, you can get 31,778.

Terms & Conditions
- You must register on the promotion page and book your stay by November 29, 2022.
- You must stay two qualifying nights under one or more stays by December 31, 2022.
- Each night has to cost at least US$30 (~€28) in the local currency.
- Each night has to be fully booked with cash (so not with points or points and money) on IHG’s website, not through (online) travel agencies.
- Bookings made prior to November 28 & registration for the deal will not count towards the promotion.

Bottom Line
If you still have time and money to go to an IHG property or still need to book a hotel for your upcoming stay this year, you should definitely consider booking an IHG stay. Even if you are eligible for the 100% bonus promotion (I can only get 80% as it’s targeted), this promotion will get you about the same worth per point. Staying four nights at the Crown Plaza Vilnius can get you 31.778 points (even more with status bonuses) which amounts to €0,006/point and you even get a stay that can qualify you for a status.
