IHG One Rewards Promotion: Get 2,000 Bonus Points Every Two Nights or 10,000 Points Every Four Nights in Summer 2023

The IHG Rewards Club once again is offering a nice promotion, which allows you to earn an uncapped amount of bonus points until the end of year. This time, you have to choose between earning 2,000 bonus points every second night or 10,000 points every fourth night. As our example shows, the decision is actually a no-brainer.

The promotions runs until August 31, 2023 for stays within the same period.

Conditions

You can stay in any of IHG’s 5,500+ hotels worldwide. All stays between June 6 and August 31, 2023, are eligible for the bonus, and you have to be registered before your stay. You also have to book a Qualifying Rate, i.e. one that will earn you points – like most best flexible rates. Your stay has to be worth at least $30 or local equivalent to be a qualifying stay.

You can choose between two options

• 2,000 points every second night
• 10,000 points every fourth night

If you already know you will spend a number of nights dividable by four in IHG hotels in the remainder of the year, it is a no-brainer to go with the second option. Basically any number greater than three nights makes the 10K for 4 nights more appealing.

If you stay ten nights, it would mean you won’t get a third dose of those delicious 10,000 bonus points – but already 20,000 extra points in your account. If you had registered for the first option, you would receive only 10,000 points for those ten nights. The following table shall help you make your decision easier:

These nights can both be one single stay of four nights or four separate stay of one night each. Everything in between will be rewarded, as well.

Even better, the number of points you can earn is not capped. Please also note that these are just bonus points, earned on top of your regular earnings. You can spend these points on award nights, but they will not count towards your status.
