If you want want to experience long haul business class cabins at little expense, this offer might interest you: Oneworld members Iberia and British Airways currently offer a special treat for members of Iberia Plus or British Airways’ Executive Club. Business class tickets between London and Madrid are currently available at 15,000 avios + taxes.

A few days ago we reported that you can try British Airways’ new Club Suite between Madrid and London-Heathrow for the same price. While these flights are not reguarly available, you can still enjoy British Airways’ Boeing 777 business class or Iberia’s Airbus A340 on this route. Both airlines operate at least one afternoon rotation with widebody planes and therefore with long haul premium cabins.

Most flights on this route are operated by A320 family planes, but cost the same amount of Avios. If you are flexible on flight times, be sure to catch one of the flights above. While airlines can always change planes on short notice, BA 460/461 and IB 3166/3167 are scheduled to receive Airbus A330/340 or Boeing 777 service all the way through this and deep into next year.
