Miami: €1,542 Non-Stop Business Class Flights From Milan With American Airlines

American Airlines Business Class Window Seat

Oneworld member American Airlines is currently selling very cheap direct business class flights from Milan to Miami. This is probably the most comfortable and quickest way to fly there, enjoying business class benefits such as lounge access, priority boarding, and being able to bring two pieces of luggage.

American Airlines uses a Boeing 777 on these flights, where business class seats are aligned in a 1-2-1 formation.

Search & Book

This deal will expire on August 31, 2019. According to the fare rules, flights have to take place on Monday to Thursday, but we’ve found this not to be the case. You do, however, have to stay in Miami for at least one Sunday and your stay may not exceed 12 months.

Using Google Flights is the easiest way to find available dates. Once you’ve found them, you can use our Travel-Dealz flight search to find the cheapest fare, or (for a slightly higher price) book directly on any of the main Oneworld airlines’ websites (e.g. britishairways.com or iberia.com). You’ll always be flying with American Airlines, no matter which of these sites you select.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

To facilitate your search for available dates, we’ve compiled an availability calendar for trips of 6 – 13 days:

American Airlines’ Business Class

American’s Business Class is generally well received. Their food and beverage service gets positive feedback as well as their lie flat seat. In contrast, their lackluster lounges and bulky air bag seat belts are main points of criticism. You can read a more detailed review in English or German.
