Turkish Airlines‘ frequent flyer program, Miles&Smiles, has started the following promotion: Until December 31, 2020, you’ll get a 30% discount on economy and business class award tickets. The discount applies on the required number of miles – the taxes & fees stay unchanged. The travel period goes until mid-June 2021, excluding the Easter vacation.
This usually, however, only makes sense for business class trips, as the taxes & fees are usually high for economy class tickets, e.g. you could fly to South Africa and back for 42,000 miles in economy class, would however have to pay a hefty sum of €253. In business class, you’d pay 77,000 miles for the roundtrip + a surcharge of €458, saving far more money.
The discount is valid until December 31, 2020 for economy and business class tickets in the entire Turkish Airlines network. Code-share flights, Star Alliance partner airline flights, as well as AnadoluJet flights, are excluded. The taxes are not discounted. The travel period includes dates before March 24. 2021, as well as from April 27 until June 15, 2021. The award tickets are issued in a limited seat capacity.

The offer is valid for tickets issued between 07/12/2020 – 31/12/2020, with travel dates between 07/12/2020 – 15/06/2021.
The offer will provide 30% Miles discount on promotional award tickets for one-way or round trip Business Class or Economy Class flights for all our flight network.
Changes in reservation for award tickets issued within the scope of the promotion are allowed, taking into account the ticketing 07/12/2020 – 31/12/2020 and the travel date of 07/12/2020 – 15/06/2021.

The promotion is not valid between 25/03/2021 – 26/04/2021 for international flights
Miles can be refunded within 1 year of the date on which the ticket is issued.
