On November 13, the MSC Musica starts its Italy to Uruguay cruise, which takes 20 nights. An inside cabin on this cruise currently only costs £671 (~€781) per person, including full board and gratuities. You can also stay in an ocean view cabin for £882 (~€1,026), or even relax in a balcony cabin for only £1,163 (~€1,353). The cruise begins in Monfalcone, 130 km from Venice.
As mentioned before, the price includes all service charges and gratuities, as well as buffet and main restaurant dining. Hot drinks and water are also free. Onboard, you’ll be able to enjoy broadway style theatre shows and the ship’s sport facilities and pools.
While logitravel offers the cheapest prices for inside and ocean view cabins, balcony cabins are a bit cheaper on the German website Seereisedienst, where they only cost €1,269 per person.

The Ship
The MSC Musica was built for MSC Cruises in 2006 and is an English-speaking cruise ship with 1,275 cabins across 13 passenger decks. The onboard currency on cruises to South America is the US-Dollar is Euro.
The ship has 11 bars, 5 different clubs for children, and 5 restaurants, 3 of which are included in this deal – the L’Oleandro, the Belle Epoque, and the buffet restaurant. Not only does the ship have 3 swimming pools and 4 whirlpools, but you’ll also be able to play basketball, soccer, tennis, and many other sports. Or you can relax by watching shows, going to the casino, the theatre, or other entertainment venues.
Flying back to Venice from Uruguay
The only European airlines that fly to Montevideo are Iberia and Air Europa from Madrid. That lack of competition sadly makes flights from Montevideo to Europe very expensive, regardless of the cabin class. Currently, the cheapest option is flying back to Venice with Air Europa, with layovers in Madrid and Rome for €611, including 23 kg of luggage.
