MSC Virtuosa: 6-Night Cruise from Genoa to Marseille for €297 pp in November

MSC Virtuosa

On November 14, the MSC Virtuosa departs from Genoa, visiting various ports in Italy and Spain on its way to Marseille, where it will arrive a week later. If you want to be on board when it happens, you’ll currently only have to pay £248 (~€290) per person, including tips!

This price includes the daily service charges, port taxes, meals at the main or buffet restaurants, water, coffee, onboard activities, children and teens clubs, admission to nightclubs and discos, entry to the casino areas, and gym access.

For £248 (~€290), you would be sleeping in an inside cabin. You can also opt for an ocean view cabin for £383 (~€448). All prices, as usual for cruises, are per person, based on double occupancy.

The Route

This is the cruise’s itinerary:

  • November 14: Genoa (departs at 18:00)
  • November 15: La Spezia (in Liguria, 10 hours)
  • November 16: Naples (in Campania, 6 hours)

The Ship

The MSC Virtuosa is in service for MSC since 2021, with 2,421 cabins across 15 decks. It offers 11 restaurants, three of which should be included in this deal. But there’s much more to do on the ship than just eat. There are 4 swimming pools, kids clubs for all ages, and you can spend your time playing basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, doing karaoke, or visiting the shows, casino, theatre, or one of the 9 whirlpools. The onboard currency is the Euro.

Flights

Various airlines fly to Genoa, such as ITA from Rome, Vueling from Paris, Ryanair from London, Vienna, Dublin, and Naples, KLM from Amsterdam, and Lufthansa from Munich, with most one-way flights costing between €15 and €200, depending on the route and fare.

You’ll have even more choices to get home from Marseille, as you’ll also be able to fly with EasyJet, Volotea (e.g. to Athens), or Air France. One-way flights from Marseille are roughly in the same price range as those to Genoa.
