NH Hotels‘ loyalty program NH Rewards, offers Global Hotel Alliance Discovery Status members (beginning with Gold) a simple status match. Members with a Black Discovery status may receivce an NH Rewards Platinum status!
Officially, this status match is only offered to invited members until June 30, 2019. But the corresponding landing pages are live and free for everyone!
NH Hotels operates around 400 hotels in 30 countries. They’ve got a great number of houses in Spain, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands.
Each past stay in an NH hotel will be rewarded with either 5,5% (Blue) or 7% (Platinum) NH reward points when presenting a receipt. 1 point equals €1, an amount that you can use to pay future stays in NH Hotels.
How to match
Since this offer is reserved for selected costumers, we cannot garantuee that every single status match request will be granted. But it worked, when we tested it!
GHA Discovery Gold members can match NH Rewards Silver status:
Being a Platinum member may grant you NH Rewards Gold status:
Tip: You can easily unlock Discovery Platinum status when owning a American Express Platinum Card.
Discovery Black status member can get NH Rewards Platinum status:
By clicking Match my Status on NH Rewards’ website, you will be presented with a registry sheet. (Exisiting NH Rewards accounts cannot be upgraded this way.)
Under If you are a member of other loyalty program, please, indicate its name you can enter Discovery and your membership number, however, this isn’t an obligatory field.
Following that procedure, your status match request will be sent to NH Rewards. After two weeks, we received a welcome e-mail to NH Rewards Platinum:
