Pan Pacific Perth: €155 with Lounge Access (min. 2 Nights)

Thanks to LuxuryEscapes, you can currently book a Deluxe King room at the newly renovated Pan Pacific in Perth, including lounge access, for only €155. That’s almost €100 cheaper – per night – than what you’d pay directly on the hotel’s website for a rate with lounge access. The mere condition is that you stay for at least 2 nights. This rate is available from now until February 2025.

You would be staying in a 29 m2 large room, which offers air conditioning, a hair dryer, wi-fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, etc. In the afternoon, you’ll be served tea and coffee in the Pacific Club Lounge, where you’ll also be served canapes and alcoholic drinks in the evening. In the morning, you can enjoy a full buffet breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. On the day of your departure, you can stay in the room until 13:00.

LuxuryEscapes Cancellation Policy

LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:

  • Until 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.
  • Until 22 days before your stay: You can get a full refund in form of a LuxuryEscapes credit. You won’t get your money back, but can use it to book a different hotel on LuxuryEscapes.
  • Three weeks before you stay: You won’t get a refund in any form if you cancel or no-show.

The Hotel

The Pan Pacific Perth is a 5-star hotel, located close to Perth Mint and the Swan River. Among other things, the hotel offers a pool and a gym. The hotel started a refurbishment in May 2023 for A$50,000,000 (~€30,703,290), and recently completed it.

Previous guests have left good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.1/5 on Google, 4/5 on Tripadvisor, or 4.6/5 on Trip.com), many praising the proximity to local parks and the great facilities. Points of criticism include an overpriced minibar, broken TVs, bad air quality in the rooms, and the water from the shower being too cold. Probably, most of these problems will have been solved by the refurbishment.

Located in East Perth, you’ll be staying in a laid-back neighbourhood, with many chic bars and seafood restaurants along the waterfront. Perth Mint – featuring exhibits on the local gold-mining history – is only two blocks away.

Price Check

While you’re only paying €155 per night on LuxuryEscapes, including lounge access, you would be paying at least €253 for a room with lounge access on Pan Pacific’s website. Granted, in that case, the room would also be better, but the saving of almost €100 is probably worth it.

A better room, but you’d pay €253 for a rate with lounge access on Pan Pacific’s website.

If you prefer a direct comparison for the same room type, Pan Pacific charges €158 for the same Deluxe room with breakfast. This means that LuxuryEscapes is basically charging €3 less and giving you lounge access for free on top.
