Park Hyatt Washington D.C.: 3 Nights in a Suite for €814/$879 Total with Breakfast, $100 Credit, Points & More (Summer)

Park Hyatt Washington P285 Park Junior Suite.16x9

The Park Hyatt in Washington DC is currently offering an interesting deal for its suites in August and early September. Booking through ASMALLWORLD, you can currently get 3 nights, including breakfast, US$100 (~€92) property credit, and further extras for only US$879 (~€807). That’s equivalent to US$293 (~€269) per night – a price at which you usually wouldn’t even get a normal room at this hotel – let alone all those extras.

Despite booking through ASMALLWORLD, this is an eligible rate to earn World of Hyatt points and nights.

To see this rate, you’ll need an account at ASMALLWORLD. However, the account is completely free and they are a trustworthy partner, so there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. Remember, these prices are only available in August and early September and you need to stay exactly 3 nights for the best price.

The junior suites are roughly 50 m2 large and have an (almost) separate living room. You can choose between a junior suite with a city view or facing the other side. Apparently, you should, however, get a room upgrade as part of this deal, meaning that you would end up in an 87 m2 large suite. But with suites, it may happen that hotels don’t initially respect the included upgrade. Maybe you’ll have to argue a bit during check-in (or send an email before to find out). In theory, the upgrade should be confirmed within 48 hours of booking.

The Hotel

The Park Hyatt Washington D.C. is an elegant cosmopolitan 5-star hotel with high-end rooms, a spa, an excellent restaurant, and a saltwater pool. It also offers its guests free wifi and a fitness centre. The hotel is located relatively close to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Previous guests have left very good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.6/5 on Google, 4.5/5 on Tripadvisor, 4.6/5 on, and 9.1/10 on Priceline), many praising the great atmosphere and no major points of criticism being made.

Located in the Northwest Washington neighbourhood – which is home to many major landmarks – you’re in an excellent position for sightseeing. The National Mall, for instance, is less than a 25-minute walk away, as is the White House.

The hotel’s main restaurant is the Blue Duck Tavern with contemporary American food. For lunch, you could e.g. order a cheeseburger for US$26 (~€24). Dinner prices are more hefty, e.g. pan-seared scallops costing US$64 (~€59). So don’t expect to get much food with your US$100 (~€92) credit. Maybe some drinks at the bar are a better option.

Price Check

The price of ~ €272 for a suite, even if you end up in a junior suite, is spectacular. The absolute cheapest rate for a junior suite with breakfast at Hyatt starts at €490 per night. And that doesn’t even include the US$100 (~€92) credit and the possible upgrade. So, you’re saving at least 45% by booking through ASMALLWORLD. The only downside is that ASMALLWORLD’s rate is not refundable.
