On April 16, Princess Cruises‘ Regal Princess sets sail in Fort Lauderdale and heads to Southampton, stopping at various ports, e.g. on the Azores, France, and in Bruges. After 14 nights, you’ll arrive in Southampton. A deluxe balcony cabin with obstructed view on this cruise only costs €996 per person, or you could pay €1,014 for a standard balcony cabin with an open view.
This price includes all coffee, tea, water, and iced tea in the buffet restaurant, all meals, and 24-hour cabin service. Gratuities are not included.

The Ship
The Regal Princess is an elegant ship with excellent dining options, but rather small cabins. There are 10 included restaurants/cafés: Alfredo’s (gourmet pizza), Allegro Dining Room (American), Calypso Cabana (casual), Concerto Dining Room (American), Horizon Bistro (fast fare), Horizon Court (casual), Horizon Terrace (casual), Prego Pizzeria (pizza), Symphony Dining Room (American), The Pastry Shop (pastries), and Trident Grill (casual).
For entertainment, there are various kids clubs, centre court, club 6, comedy shows, dancing classes, deck parties, disco and dancing, fitness centre, game shows, 7 hot tubs, jogging track, karaoke, lawn court, live music, movies under the stars, nightly DJ, outdoor movies, 4 pools, princess sports central, princess theatre, sea walk, shuffle-board, solo travellers get together, table tennis, the driving range, the library, the piazza, trivia, and the vista lounge.
There are 1,780 cabins on board. The balcony cabins are small. You’ll be comfortable, but they are not ideal for in-room dining. You’ll have two chairs and a small metal table on the balcony.
Overall, the Regal Princess is an excellent ship that offers modern and sophisticated decor, entertainment, and dining.
Flying to Florida
