Rwanda‘s flag carrier, Rwandair is currently selling business class flights from Paris to Kilimanjaro in Tanzania starting at €1,529. The fare includes a checked bag, but you’d need to reserve through an online travel agency to get this fare.
Most European nationals (except passport holders of the Channel Islands, Cyprus, Guernsey, Jersey, Malta and Romania) need an e-visa or a visa on arrival to enter Tanzania, costing US$50 (~€46). You can check the IATA Travel Centre for personal and up-to-date information.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to the Travel-Dealz.com flight search with your selected flight dates.
Rwandair uses an Airbus A330-200 for its long-haul flights. These offer lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. You can find a review of the product here. To make the matter even better, the airline uses a 1-2 layout in their Dash-8 in business class, making the Dar es-Salaam technical stop on the outbound manageable.
Search & Book
The fare rules do not state how long this fare will remain valid, but say that there is no minimum stay. On the other hand, a maximum stay of 12 months applies.
You can use our calendar above that will show you availabilities. Once you selected your dates, it will forward you to the Travel-Dealz Flight Search with your preselected flight dates. With all its disadvantages, it may be worth it to book through online travel agencies (OTAs), since they offer prices of up to €200 cheaper. You can also search more specifically on Google Flights (instructions) for example by setting filters. You can then use our Go2 browser extension to book your flights.
Mileage
Rwandair issues these tickets in booking class P. As Rwandair is not part of any alliance, your earnings will be severely limited.
Destination
Hotel prices in Tanzania usually start at roughly €20, depending on the hotel category. Whichever category and hotel you opt for, make sure to get the best price! Our recommendation is to search on booking.com, or even on our own Travel-Dealz hotel search:
Information & Tips for Tanzania
The United Republic of Tanzania is a country in East Africa and probably best known by tourists for the semi-autonomous region Zanzibar. But also people that are into game drives will get their money’s worth in Tanzania since it is home to 4 big national parks. And if that’s not enough, you could still climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africas highest mountain.
Best Time to Visit
There really is no right or wrong time to visit this well-loved location. That said, the best wildlife viewing months in Tanzania are during the Dry season from late June to October. The best chance of seeing the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti is during June and July and the time to see the wildebeest calving is late January to February.
Entry & Visa
All EU passport holders are eligible for a visa on arrival. The cost of a single-entry visa is about €50 for citizens of European countries.
