You can currently purchase a package holiday deal for 2 people for only €434 per person, which includes flights from Brussels to Tenerife with TUI, the transfer from the airport to the hotel (and back), and 6 nights at the Sol Puerto de la Cruz hotel, including half board. You would be staying in a Sol Room. You can depart from Brussels between May 4 and May 11, and either stay 6 or 7 nights in Tenerife, whichever suits you best. The Hotel
The Sol Puerto de la Cruz Tenerife is a casual Melia hotel with clean and large rooms, within walking distance of the Playa Jardín and San Telmo.
Overall, the reviews of this hotel have been rather positive, with many previous guests complimenting the proximity to the beach and the atmosphere. A point of criticism, however, has been the ancient TVs and the quite limited choice of TV channels.
The hotel overlooks the black sands of Playa Jardin along the North Atlantic Ocean. You’re also within walking distance of many touristic sights, such as Loro Park, which is only a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is also well-connected to the public transportation network, e.g. with a bus stop only 5 minutes away, from where you can take the 102 bus to further-away locations such as the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín, which is a 45-minute bus ride away.
Price Check
The Sol room including half board costs €420 directly at the hotel (because of a current sale that has cut the price by 34%).
Meanwhile, the TUI flights including luggage cost €204 per person, meaning that booked separately you would be paying €828.
Add the transfer to the equation (which is a drive of over an hour), and this package deal’s price adds up perfectly. Overall, it’s a great price for such a trip.
