Palma & Ibiza: $318 TAP Flights from New York (w/o Luggage)

Palma

Portuguese Star Alliance Member TAP is a good source for deals from New York to Europe. Recently, we posted a business class deal to Milan for $1,792, and now we’ve found an excellent offer for economy class travellers. For only $318, TAP will fly you from Newark airport to Palma on Spain’s Balearic island of Mallorca, or to the island of Ibiza for $336. Luggage is only included for Star Alliance Gold members, and will otherwise bump the price up to $479.

Our calendar displays all available dates for trips of up to 28 days. Once you’ve selected your preferred destination and dates, you can get the cheapest price on Skyscanner, but if you wish to fly with luggage, you should book directly on TAP’s website.

You would first fly less than 7 hours from New York to Lisbon in an Airbus A321neo. You can either spend some time in Lisbon (up to 5 days) or directly continue to Palma/Ibiza after a short layover.

Search & Book

The fare rules only state a minimum stay requirement of 6 days (or a Sunday). The cheapest price to Palma only seems to be available in October, but you can already fly to Ibiza in the spring.

Our calendar above displays all available dates for trips of up to 4 weeks. For longer trips, check out Google Flights. The cheapest price is available on Skyscanner. If you intend to fly with luggage, though, you should book directly on TAP’s website.

Mileage

As usual with economy class deals, don’t expect to get many miles. As these tickets are issued in booking class T, you should get:

  • 804 Miles on Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
  • 804 Award Miles on Emirates Skywards
  • 804 Miles on Air Canada Aeroplan
  • 804 Miles on Egyptair Plus
  • 646 Miles on Hainan Fortune Wings Club
  • 402 Miles on Azul TodoAzul

Destination

Hotel prices on the Balearic islands usually start at roughly €25, but prices can quickly jump to €40 if you want to stay at a nice location. Whichever category and hotel you opt for, make sure to get the best price! Our recommendation is to search on booking.com, or even on our own Travel-Dealz hotel search:
