United Airlines has started a new promotion for tickets between the United States and Japan. While the cash prices are nothing to write home about, the mileage prices are quite spectacular. United Mileage Plus member pay just 50,000 Miles + roughly $50 in taxes for a trip from the US East Coast to Japan and back. You can even tack on a domestic segment in Japan for just $3 more.

Nonstop oneway flights from the US East Coast to Japan can easily cost more than $1,000 in cash value. Currently, you can purchase them for as little as 25,000 Miles + $5 in taxes and surcharges.
