The Ship
The Sky Princess, launched in 2019, is part of Princess Cruises’ Royal-class and carries just over 3,600 passengers. It’s one of the more modern ships in the fleet and feels more contemporary than the older Grand-class vessels, with a brighter style and slightly more open public spaces.
The Piazza serves as the social centre of the ship, with cafés, bars, and evening entertainment happening around the central atrium. Outdoors, there are multiple pool areas and wide open decks, including the setup for Princess’s poolside movies. The ship includes a spa, fitness centre, theatre, casino, and a mix of quieter lounges alongside the more active bars.
Dining still follows Princess’s familiar structure: main dining rooms, a buffet, and several speciality restaurants that passengers can choose to book. There’s also a good range of casual options during the day, especially around the pools and atrium.

Cabins span from inside rooms to suites, with a high number of balcony cabins and a modern, lighter approach to decor. Sky Princess is basically Princess in a more updated format: Still relaxed and fairly traditional at its core, but with more choice and a fresher layout compared to many of the older ships in the fleet.
