Booking through ASMALLWORLD always gets you nice benefits like free breakfast and hotel credit, but in some cases, the rate is even cheaper than a normal rate at the hotel. Well, in this case, it’s much cheaper! Currently, if you book at least 3 nights, you’ll pay only €118 per night at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay. Compared to a similar rate booked at Hilton, this represents savings of over 40%!

Usually, booking such a rate on ASMALLWORLD requires a paid membership. Thankfully, however, they are currently giving away their memberships for free! All instructions on how to take advantage of this limited-time promo and get the free membership can be found here.

Our calendar below displays the cheapest dates in green. If you select at least 3 nights, and the first two are green, the nightly rate should cost no more than €125. Remember that you need the ASMALLWORLD membership to have access to the rate.

This is a flex rate that can be cancelled up to the midnight before your arrival. It includes daily breakfast for two; and US$100 (~€86) to spend during your stay. If available, you’ll also get an upgrade, early check-in, and late check-out. Furthermore, not only is this an eligible rate to earn Hilton nights, but you even get double Hilton Honors points.

To put those US$100 (~€86) in context: The highly-praised afternoon tea at the Peackock Alley lobby café costs QAR 280 (~€66) for two persons. A 3-course business lunch at the chinese Yun restaurant on the 44th floor costs QAR 99 (~€23) per person. And there are plenty of other options.

The rooms are very large, measuring 55 m2! You can choose if you prefer one king bed or two queen beds. You probably shouldn’t expect too much from the advertised upgrade – it’s probably just a higher floor.

The Hotel

Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay is a newer luxury hotel in the West Bay business district, housed in one of the area’s modern high-rise towers. Rooms and suites are large and contemporary, and the hotel offers several restaurants, a spa, an indoor pool, and extensive leisure facilities. It’s mainly chosen by travellers who want a high-end, full-service stay close to Doha’s commercial centres and a short drive from the Corniche and major attractions.

The hotel has received very good reviews from previous guests (e.g. 4.7/5 on Google with over 1,400 reviews), many praising the amazing spa, the top notch sauna, the excellent service, the relaxing afternoon tea, the delicious cakes, the perfect location, the breathable atmosphere, and the beautiful sea views. We couldn’t find any recurring point of criticism.

The hotel is in the West Bay district, surrounded by Doha’s main office towers and only a short drive from the Corniche and City Center Mall. It’s not a beachfront spot, but it offers quick access to key business and government areas, and taxis are easy to get for reaching museums and older parts of the city. The location suits guests who prioritise modern surroundings and convenience over direct beach access.

Price Check

On the same dates on which ASMALLWORLD charges €118 per night, Hilton charges €204 for the flex rate with breakfast – and that doesn’t even include the US$100 (~€86) credit, the double points, and the possible upgrade! In other words, you’re saving over 40% by booking through ASMALLWORLD and even get extras on top.

QAR 2,565 (~€607) for 3 nights at Hilton, instead of €355 on ASMALLWORLD
