There’s a new Ritz-Carlton in Bangkok, and you can currently book it with a 40% discount if you book at least 3 nights through ASMALLWORLD. The offer is available for stays from April 2026 onward (except the summer holidays), and includes breakfast, US$100 (~€86) to spend at the hotel, and further small extras, such as a possible upgrade and early/late check-in/out.

Usually, booking such a rate on ASMALLWORLD requires a paid membership. Thankfully, however, they are currently giving away their memberships for free! All instructions on how to take advantage of this limited-time promo and get the free membership can be found here.

Our calendar displays the cheapest dates in green, for a price of up to €295/night. Remember that you need to select at least 3 nights, and that at least the first two have to be green.

The rooms are very large, measuring 50 m2. We assume that the upgrade will get you a room with a balcony. You can always choose if you prefer a king bed, or double beds.

You can check out the dining options for your US$100 (~€86) credit here. It should definitely be enough for two main courses and two cocktails.

This is an eligible rate to earn Marriott Bonvoy nights and points. Should you hold a Marriott status, you’ll be entitled to your benefits, such as lounge access for Platinum/Titanium/Ambassador members.

The Hotel

The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok opened in early 2025, occupying the first 25 floors of a 50-storey tower in the new One Bangkok development. The hotel offers 260 rooms and suites (starting at about 50 m²), many with floor-to-ceiling windows, some with private terraces or loggias. Facilities include a spa, two swimming pools, a gym, several restaurants and bars, plus a Club Lounge, making it a full-service luxury hotel rather than a simple city stay. It tends to attract guests wanting a high-standard, centrally located base in Bangkok with easy access to business and cultural districts.

The first few guests have left very good reviews of this very new hotel (e.g. 4.6/5 on Google), mostly praising the cool facilities, the excellent breakfast, and the spacious rooms. We couldn’t find much criticism yet.

The hotel is in the new One Bangkok development at the corner of Wireless Road and Rama IV, right next to Lumphini Park. It’s close to the embassy district and within a short ride of Silom and Sukhumvit, with easy access to both MRT Lumphini and MRT Klong Toei. The area is more polished and newly built than the older parts of central Bangkok, making it convenient for business travellers and visitors who want quick links to major commercial areas while staying near one of the city’s largest green spaces.

Price Check

While the price drops to as little as €274 per night on ASMALLWORLD when selecting 3+ nights, there’s no way to pay less than €435 per night on Marriott’s website, if you want a rate that includes breakfast. That in itself already represents a discount of almost 40%. On top of that, you also get the possible upgrade and the US$100 (~€86) credit. Definitely a good deal.

The local currency is the Thai baht (THB), and while credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and large stores, cash is preferred for smaller vendors. The city is relatively affordable, with street food and public transport offering great value. Bangkok has a tropical climate, with hot and humid weather year-round, a rainy season from May to October, and cooler, more comfortable temperatures from November to February.
