One-Way Tickets from the US to Europe for €170 with Oneworld & SkyTeam, Even From e.g. Hawaii & Alaska (w/o Luggage)

Delta Air Lines Boeing 767-400ER N828MH approaching London Heathrow Airport (LHR).

One-way flights from the USA to Europe are currently particularly cheap to book with Oneworld (American or British Airways) and SkyTeam (Delta, Air France, KLM). This might be useful as part of a round-the-world trip, or if you booked a business class outbound flight using miles and still need a way to get back to Europe.

In any case, tickets are available from numerous US cities for prices between €170 and €210. These include four airports in Hawaii, several West Coast destinations, and even numerous regional airports throughout the country.

However, checked luggage costs extra. You can either book the standard fare (which includes other benefits) for an additional €85, or pay €64 at check-in. Status holders receive at least one free checked bag with all airlines except BA, even when booking the Light fare.

The prices from Hawaii are particularly interesting, as the distance covers half the globe:

But there are also cheap tickets available from many other US cities (including numerous regional airports):

The best prices are available for travel in April, May, and November 2026. You can also travel from August to October 2026, but it will cost around €20 more. Feel free to use the search tool below to book via Google Flights or directly with American Airlines:

The fare rules do not state how long these prices will last. However, two weeks ago prices were significantly higher, as shown by the price history on Google Flights (Honolulu – Oslo):

Google Flights (guide) is also suitable for finding dates. We recommend booking directly with the airline, e.g. American, British Airways, Delta, or KLM.
