Chinese SkyTeam member China Eastern Airlines has a nice business class fare going for its service to Singapore. Roundtrips with departure from London-Gatwick start at €1,455 (~£1,271). Unfortunately, all connections available at this fare feature a rather long layover at Shanghai Pudong airport (minimum 8 hours).
The twelve hour flights between London and Shanghai are operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft. China Eastern’s business class features fully reclineable lie flat seats on these planes. You can expect either a 1-2-1 or 2-2-2 seating pattern. Another A330 takes you on your five hour journey from Shanghai to Singapore.

According to the fare rules, flights are on sale at this fare until November 30, 2019. Sadly, the travel period is very restricted. You may book your outbound flight within the following time frames:
- December 23, 2019 – January 15, 2020
- February 10 – March 28, 2020
Further, a minimum stay of six days as well as a maximum stay of three months. We’ve been able to find multiple flight dates within each travel period.
