Star Alliance member All Nippon Airways is offering a deal from Stockholm to Sydney, Australia, starting at just €3,463 (~SEK 38,294). This offer includes 2×32 Kg checked luggage and all the business class perks. Dates are scattered in July, August, and between November 2025 and February 2026. What is also interesting about this offer is that stopovers in Japan are possible, and the price only increases slightly (approx. €70) as a result.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to ANA and Skyscanner with your selected flight dates. From there, you can check what OTAs have to offer, as they sell these tickets up to €100 cheaper.

In most cases, you will fly to Australia with only one stop in Haneda from Stockholm Arlanda. However, some options will include a feeder flight to Frankfurt or Munich with Lufthansa, or to Vienna with Austrian Airlines. The long-haul flights are operated by ANA, using Boeing 787 aircraft in a 1-2-1 configuration. Here is a review of ANA business class in the Dreamliner. You will be travelling for at least 28 hours each way, but there are also connections where you will be on the move for 44 hours. These long connections are naturally suitable for a stopover. Otherwise, you can pass the time in the business class lounge.
ANA has a new and an older business class. Most planes have the older one, offering ludicrous amounts of space for your personal items. They also always have direct access to the aisle, either being right next to the window (recommended for more privacy) or directly at the aisle. The brand new THE Room class, installed in many Boeing 777 planes, has unbelievably wide seats. Unbeatable for sleeping, sometimes unnecessarily wide for sitting. Additionally, they’ve installed a 24-inch 4K-screen and every other row is facing backward.
Most Europeans need a visa to enter Australia. You can apply for the visa online. It’s best to apply at least 1 month before travelling. The visa is free.
Most European passport holders can spend up to 90 days in Japan visa-free.
Search & Book
This deal has no set expiration date or minimum stay requirement, but a maximum stay of three months does apply. Dates are scattered in July, August, and between November 2025 and February 2026.
You can find suitable dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on ANA”s website, but you can find cheaper prices up to €100 cheaper with Skyscanner. However, booking on OTAs has its downsides.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
Adding a Stopover In Japan
Tickets with a lengthy stay in Tokyo start at €3,537. Finding these flights is only possible by trial-and-error, with Google Flights’ multi-stop search the most convenient option. You can also use our Go2 tool to find tickets.

Sehe hier keinen wirklichen Deal? Standard Preis halt.
