British Airways is offering up to a 45% discount on award flights via their British Airways Club until July 23, 2025. Sadly, this sale only applies to flights within Europe (in economy or business class) and select long-haul flights (however, only in economy class). So, really it’s only interesting for short-haul business class redemptions. The flights have to take place between August 1, 2025 and February 11, 2026.

Here are some example routes and prices that you can book thanks to this sale:
- London Heathrow – Madrid: 24,000 Avios + €25 r/t
- London Gatwick – Madeira: 29,100 Avios + €25 r/t
- London City – Milan Linate: 21,000 Avios + €25 r/t
- London Heathrow – Amsterdam: 19,500 Avios + €25 r/t
- London Heathrow – Istanbul: 29,100 Avios + €25 r/t
- London Heathrow – Paris: 18,000 Avios + €25 r/t
- London Heathrow – Venice: 24,000 Avios + €25 r/t
- London Heathrow – Barcelona: 28,000 Avios + €25 r/t
- London City – Chambéry: 15,700 Avios + €84 r/t
- London Heathrow – Budapest: 24,000 Avios + €25 r/t
- London City – Zurich: 21,000 Avios + €25 r/t
- London Gatwick – Larnaca: 32,900 Avios + €45 r/t
All of these flights can also be booked in the opposite direction or as one-way flights.

Conclusion
This sale sounded great at first, but limiting the long-haul flights to economy class destroyed most of its appeal, as they remain unattractive despite the high discount. The only attractive option is the business class flights within Europe, some of which cost less than 10,000 Avios per direction with very low surcharges.
