Condor is currently offering a deal from Frankfurt to Hawaii, with four different destinations in the US state available for less than €600, with flights to Lihue already starting at €521. The itinerary starts with a Condor flight to Seattle, followed by a connecting flight of roughly 6 hours with Alaska.
What makes this offer particularly attractive is that one 23 kg checked bag is already included in the price. Usually, Condor’s cheapest economy fare only comes with a personal item and will cost €100 for both ways.
The following routes are available for less than €600:
- Frankfurt – Lihue: €521
- Frankfurt – Kailua, Kona: €542
- Frankfurt – Kahului: €542
- Frankfurt – Honolulu: €580
- Milan – Lihue: €589
- Prague – Lihue: €592
You can use the following form to be redirected to Condor’s website for booking. There’s availability from September 2025 until March 2026, though not in November or December. We have highlighted the cheapest dates (for trips up to 28 days) in green. For technical reasons, this was not possible for Lihue, Kauai, but the availability should be similar:

First, you will fly from Germany to the USA, with a layover in Seattle. Some options also have layovers in Vancouver. On the long-haul route, Condor uses an Airbus A330neo, which features a rather tight 76 cm seat pitch in a 2-4-2 seating arrangement.
Afterwards, you’ll continue to Hawaii with Alaska Airlines, or sometimes Hawaiian Airlines. Hawaiian sometimes operates widebody jets, while Alaska uses a Boeing 737 (MAX). The seat pitch on the connecting flight is between 76 and 79 cm. On the return journey, the flight from Hawaii to the West Coast is usually overnight, and you will have a long layover of about 10 hours in Seattle or Vancouver.
Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$21 (~€19) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.
Search & Book
We cannot say for how long this fare will be valid. There is no apparent minimum stay. Availability exists for travel from September 2025 until March 2026, though not in November and December, and not to all four destinations. The availability is highest by far for Honolulu.
You can find cheap dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. However, for flights to Lihue, Kauai, it displays incorrect (higher) prices. We recommend booking directly on Condor’s website.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
Miles & Points
The calculation is a bit tricky, with a mix of various airlines and Condor not even being an alliance member. Your best bet is probably to credit the miles at the Alaska Mileage Plan, where we’d expect you to get a bit over 4,000 miles for the entire trip.
