Singapore & Southeast Asia: $1,111 Singapore Airlines Premium Economy Flights from New York (Bali at $1,201)

Singapore Airlines Premium Economy

Star Alliance member Singapore Airlines currently offers discounted tickets for its nonstop service from New York to Singapore and their Southeast Asia network with the world’s longest passenger flight currently operating, starting at US$1,111 (~€1,032). This fare includes 2×23 kg of checked luggage. Departures are available between August and March 2025 with blackout dates in December.

Here are the destinations you can take advantage of this deal:

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days with nonstop itineraries. It will forward you to Singapore Airlines or Momondo with your selected flight dates. You can check what OTAs have to offer in Momondo, as they sell these tickets up to US$140 (~€130) cheaper:

The nonstop flights between Singapore and New York are operated by an Airbus A350-900ULR (Ultra Long Range). It features a 2-4-2 seating in premium economy with a seat pitch of 95 cm. Thanks to the carbon frame of the aircraft, pressure and humidity inside the cabin are higher than on common planes, making the long flight less stressful to the body. Singapore Airlines serves both Newark and JFK airport nonstop from Singapore. Technically, the flight from/to JFK is a bit longer.

Unfortunately, your feeder flight in Asia will be in economy class, but the good news is that your luggage will go all the way from New York to your final destination.

This deal doesn’t have an expiration date, but it does have a maximum stay of six months. Departures are available between August and March 2025 with blackout dates in December.

You can find suitable dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on Singapore Airlines’ website, but you can find cheaper prices with Momondo. However, booking on OTAs has its downsides.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Any Chance for a ow ex NJ?

I don’t thing they are even close to Siberian airspace. Route is always flying eastbound du winds.

    • Felix says:

Hi Mine! Both flights are usually operated eastbound for the reason you quoted. That means NYC-SIN could cross Siberian airspace, but doesn’t.
