Today we bring you a promotion with the Spanish airline Plus Ultra, offering a 50% discount on all its flights, providing a great opportunity to travel to Bogotá, Cartagena, Lima or Caracas in business class from Madrid, starting at €863. The fare includes 1 piece of checked luggage up to 23 kg and access to the airport lounge, but the seats on these flights are angled flat seats. Departure are available between February to November 2025.
Here are the best discounted prices we found for business class from Madrid:
- Lima, Perú at €863 (non-stop)
- Bogotá, Colombia at €863 (direct)
- Cartagena, Colombia at €892 (direct)
- Caracas, Venezuela at €1,042 (non-stop)
While Google Flights previews lie-flat seats for all flights, we have not been able to verify this claim.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Skyscanner with your selected flight dates. Since the discount doesn’t work (yet) on Plus Ultra’s website for all destinations, your best chance is buying tickets from OTAs. Departure are available between February to November 2025.

Plus Ultra has a very small fleet but has interesting destinations, such as Peru, Venezuela, Cuba and of course Colombia in its portfolio. They operate with very matured former Air France A340-300’s and took over Air Europa A330-200s to phase the former out. On flights to Colombia, Plus Ultra plans to use the A330s.
The business class offers angled flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration. Their IFE system offers a limited choice. According to reviews, the IFE is often out of order and the screen size is very small in today’s standard. The best thing is to bring your own entertainment. This business class is a very simple product, don’t expect anything too fancy.
Flights to Bogotá are nonstop, the inbound features a short stop in Cartagena, in the case of Lima and Caracas flights are nonstop.
Most European passport holders can stay in Colombia, Venezuela, and Perú visa-free for up to 90 days.
Search & Book
We recommend using Google Flights to find dates for your flights. However, in some dates the prices displayed are up to €300 more expensive than on Skyscanner, so you have to resort to trial and error. Once the discount works properly on Plus Ultra’s website, you can buy your tickets there.
The site is unfortunately only available in Spanish. You will find the search box on the home page, where the code is automatically applied.

If you don’t speak Spanish, we recommend opening the website on a different browser and using the translation tool, while using the original browser in Spanish to book the flights without translation.
Once you enter, it will display the price in economy class under cabina económica. You need to choose cabina ejecutiva for business class.
If with your route the price difference between ejecutiva básica and ejecutiva flexible is not significant, we recommend purchasing the flexible option, as it includes free flight changes and a free refund.

Check that the fare explanation displays Descuento Aplicado at the end; if not, you are not getting the promo price.
This deal will expire on January 12, 2025, but we recommend booking these flights as soon as possible.
Miles & Points
Plus Ultra is not part of any alliance, therefore you can’t earn any miles except for their own program Premier Plus.
