Gulf carrier Etihad Airways has launched some attractive business-class fares from Copenhagen to Johannesburg. If you don’t mind having a 7-hour layover in Abu Dhabi, you can reach South Africa’s transport and business hub for as little €1,373 (~DKK 10,249) in a lie-flat seat.
Please note that the lounge access is not included in the lowest fare. If this is important to you, it is best to book the corresponding fare directly with the airline starting at €1,584 (~DKK 11,824).
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Eithad’s website with your preselected flight dates. You can also check what OTAs on Skyscanner have to offer, as they sell these tickets up to €60 cheaper.

Etihad uses Boeing 787 aircraft on all flight segments. Their business class cabin features lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 seating pattern, with half of the seats facing the rear of the plane.
Etihad’s Business Class
Etihad offers one of the best business-class products worldwide. The seats are excellent (aligned in a 1-2-1 formation), the service is outstanding, and you get many amenities that are definitely not part of the global standard, such as being able to dine on demand. You can read a full review here.

Most Europeans do not need a visa to enter South Africa, as long as their stay does not exceed 90 days. You merely need a passport with 2 empty pages, and a ticket to leave South Africa.
Search & Book
The fare is valid until July 31, 2025. A minimum stay requirement of two days applies. You may not stay longer than three months to get this offer.
Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. You can either book the tickets through Skyscanner or pay roughly €60 more on Etihad’s website.
