New York: €280 Nonstop SAS or Finnair Flights from Stockholm (w/o Checked Bags)

Star Alliance carrier Scandinavian Airlines and Oneworld member Finnair compete for passengers on nonstop services between Stockholm and New York. SAS sells tickets for as little as €280 (~SEK 3,092), while Finnair’s flights are a little more expensive at €291 (~SEK 3,214).

The cheapest fare including luggage with Finnair is SEK 4,594 (~€416), while SAS charges €388 (~SEK 4,285) for a roundtrip with a checked bag of 23 kg on their website.

If you’re looking for SAS flights, select Newark as the destination. Finnair flights are going to JFK. If you don’t care about the airline and just want to see all cheap flights, select NYC.

SkyTeam member Delta Air Lines also offers discounted nonstop roundtrips between Stockholm and New York at €369.

Both airlines plan to use Airbus A330 aircraft between New York and Stockholm. In both cases, you can expect a 2-4-2 seating in economy class, with personal video screens for each passenger.

Search & Book

SAS fare is scheduled to expire on June 24, 2022. It is for travel between September and December 2022. It requires a minimum stay of six days or a night from Saturday to Sunday. We have not been able to locate fare rules for Finnair’s offer, but we expect them to be fairly similar.
