TAP Portugal‘s recent business class keeps surprising us with great deals. From the UK, you can not only fly to Cancún but also to Sao Paulo in Brazil starting at just €1,318 (~£1,151). Similarly to that deal, you save around €200 if you spend at least 24 hours in Lisbon (or Porto) on the outbound flight to save on high British taxes. Without the stopover, you can still fly for €1,490 (~£1,301)
You can travel with the following options:
From London:
- Sao Paulo with stopover at €1,318 (~£1,151)
- Sao Paulo without stopover at €1,490 (~£1,301)
- Rio with stopover at €1,330 (~£1,162)
- Rio without stopover at €1,513 (~£1,321)
From Manchester:
- Sao Paulo with stopover at €1,376 (~£1,202)
- Sao Paulo without stopover at €1,547 (~£1,351)
- Rio with stopover at €1,390 (~£1,214)
- Rio without stopover at €1,563 (~£1,365)
The calendar below shows all departure dates for flights without a stopover in Lisbon and a maximum of 28 days in Cancún. However, to book these flights at the cheaper price (with a stopover), you’d have to use the search box beneath it and enter the dates you found using the calendar. For the London-Rio flights, most dates have the stopover in Porto.

TAP mostly uses its Airbus A330neo aircraft for its flights to Brazil. The short-haul flights are operated by Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Not too long ago, TAP’s Executive Class was infamously subpar. By now, however, all planes have been equipped with new seats that can be converted into fully flat beds and offer quite a high comfort. Especially the Throne seat on the long-range A321 is top-notch, being twice as big as other seats.
Search & Book
Together with the other TAP deals, this one will also expire on October 2, 2022. A 5-night (or a Saturday night) minimum stay applies, as well as a one-month maximum stay. Even though the travel period should be from September to June 30, 2023, you can only find flights from February 2023. You can find most dates in Mach 2023.
You can check round-trip and one-day stopover flights on Google Flights. However, it may be easier to use our calendar above to check dates and use them in the multi-city search box below. We recommend booking tickets through TAP’s website and it’s usually the cheapest.

Information & Tips for Brazil
Brazil is famous for attractions like the Amazon rainforest, the vibrant cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, and natural landmarks like Iguazu Falls and Pantanal. The currency is the Brazilian real (BRL), and credit cards are commonly accepted in most places. The price level can vary—major cities and tourist spots can be expensive, but other areas offer more affordable options. Brazil’s weather is tropical, with hot, humid summers, especially in coastal regions, while southern areas experience milder winters. The best time to visit is generally during the dry season, from May to October.
Brazil’s transport infrastructure varies across the country. In major cities like Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, public transport includes buses, metros, and taxis, though traffic congestion can make getting around slow at times. Ride-hailing apps are widely used and convenient. For intercity travel, long-distance buses are a common, affordable option, but they can be slow. Domestic flights are popular for longer distances, offering quick access to destinations like the Amazon or coastal areas. However, outside major cities, transportation options may be less frequent or reliable, requiring more planning.
