Jakarta: €1,561 EgyptAir Business Class from Athens (Overnight Layover)

Star Alliance member EgyptAir is offering a business class fare between Athens and Jakarta starting at €1,561. The fare includes 2 pieces of luggage, each weighing up to 32 kilograms, along with all the business class perks.

The downside of this fare is that it requires a 10 to 17-hour layover in Cairo on the way to Jakarta, which means you will have to stay overnight in Cairo. Departures are available until May 2026.

First, you will fly to Cairo in a Boeing 737 with a 2-2 configuration in Business Class, offering a comfortable 122cm pitch for stretching your legs. For the second leg, you will fly in a Boeing 787 with a 1-2-1 configuration with lie-flat seats.

Please be aware that EgyptAir is a dry airline that does not serve alcoholic beverages on their aircraft or in their lounges. However, you are welcome to consume your own beer, wine, and spirits onboard.

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
