Star Alliance member LOT Polish Airlines currently sells discounted business class roundtrips from Sweden’s capital Stockholm to New Delhi. With a short change of planes in Warsaw, you can reach Northern India for as little as €1,308 (~SEK 14,424). Lounge Access, priority services and three checked bags up to 32kg each are included in this fare. Departures are available from July 2025 to March 2026, with blackout dates in September.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. We’ve only included dates with short layovers in Warsaw. You can either be forwarded to Skyscanner or to LOT’s website (roughly €40 more expensive):

Flights between Oslo and Warsaw are operated by Embraer jets with a 2-2 seating pattern. The seat next to you will remain empty. Long-haul duties are handled by LOT’s fleet of Boeing 787 that feature lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 seating pattern.
The Polish airline LOT only has one long-haul aircraft type, the Boeing 787 (Dreamliner) – thus every flight will have the exact same seats. Everything is slightly above average, except the seat alignment (2-2-2), which doesn’t offer direct access to the aisle for the window seats. A further disadvantage of flying with LOT: There’s no Wi-Fi, even if you’d be willing to pay for it. So, if you intend to work (with internet access) during the flight, you should choose a different airline. LOT is, however, very generous with its baggage allowance (3 x 32 kg).
Lufthansa and SWISS are charging roughly the same price. The luggage allowance is lower, you’d get fewer miles at many programs, but their seats are slightly more comfortable and availability is better:
European citizens require a tourist visa if they want to visit India. You can apply for it online at the official website. If you plan on continuing your journey on a separate ticket, you still need to apply for a tourist or transit visa.

This deal is not restricted by a specific travel or sales period. Departures are available from July 2025 to March 2026, with blackout dates in September.
Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. We recommend booking directly on LOT’s website, but you can find cheaper prices with Skyscanner. However, booking on OTAs has its downsides.

Information & Tips for India
India is a large and diverse country with major tourist sights like the Taj Mahal in Agra, the forts and palaces of Rajasthan, the backwaters of Kerala, and spiritual cities like Varanasi and Rishikesh. The currency used is the Indian Rupee (INR). Prices vary widely—budget travel is possible, but mid-range and luxury options are also common, especially in tourist-heavy areas. Weather depends heavily on region and season: winters (Nov–Feb) are generally pleasant, while summers (Mar–June) can be extremely hot, and the monsoon (June–Sept) brings heavy rainfall in many parts.
India’s transport infrastructure is a mix of modern and outdated systems. Within cities, getting around can be chaotic but manageable—options include auto-rickshaws, taxis, metro systems in larger cities like Delhi and Mumbai, and app-based services like Uber and Ola. Between cities, India has an extensive railway network that’s affordable but often crowded and prone to delays; domestic flights are common and relatively inexpensive for longer distances. Roads connect most places, but traffic and conditions can be unpredictable.
