Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has put an attractive price tag on business class flights from Poland’s capital Warsaw to Astana in Kazakhstan. A trip consisting of recliner seats from Warsaw to Turkey and lie-flat-seats to Kazakhstan are available for as little as PLN 4,718 (~€1,108).
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Turkish Airlines with your selected flight dates. You can also check what OTAs have to offer, as they sell these tickets up to €50 cheaper.
We have limited our search to dates with lie-flat segments in both directions and short layovers in Istanbul. Availability gets much broader without that exception, as flights are also available daily during the winter schedule.

Flights between Warsaw and Istanbul are Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 services. These planes feature recliner seats in a 2-2 seating pattern in the business class section of the plane.
Between November 2024 and March 2025, Turkish Airlines operates one daily flight to Astana with a Boeing 737-8MAX. These planes feature recliners in a 2-2 seating pattern. During their summer schedule, Turkish Airlines adds four weekly flights with an Airbus A330 with lie-flat-seats in a 2-2-2 pattern. To catch these, look for these flights numbers:
- TK 356: Istanbul 01.50 – Astana 08.45 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- TK 357: Astana 10.15 – Istanbul 14.05 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
On the outbound, your connection has to leave Warsaw a day earlier (Saturday, Monday, Wednesday or Friday).
In some cases, you might also end up in one of the A330 regional configurations. These feature recliner seats in a 2-2-2 pattern, without power outlets. Sadly, there is no reliable way to determine if and when these planes are deployed.
The fare allows stopovers in Istanbul, with the price increasing by a maximum of €10. These stops may last for just a couple of additional hours to several weeks.
Most EU citizens can visit Kazakhstan for 30 days without applying for a visa.
Search & Book
The fare rules give absolutely no restrictions for this price, except a minimum stay in Kazakhstan of at least two days.
Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. While you can get cheaper tickets from OTAs on Skyscanner, we recommend buying tickets directly from Turkish Airlines.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
