As you may have noticed in the past few days, LuxuryEscapes is currently on fire, offering quite a few great hotel deals (among many mediocre ones). Here is a wonderful deal for those travelling to Mauritius before October. If you stay at least 5 days, you can book the Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort for only €254 per night, including breakfast, dinner, and a one-hour snorkelling excursion in the Blue Bay Marine Park, while staying in a 55 m2 Deluxe room.

Regarding the cancellation policy: You can get your money back up to 7 days after booking the hotel. Then, up to 22 days before arrival, you can cancel and get 100% as LuxuryEscapes credit. Once that deadline has passed, it’s game over and you’re stuck with the booking. But you’ll probably already have non-refundable flights by then anyway.
The dinner will be served either at the Horizon, Sea.Fire.Salt, or Zafran restaurant until 22:00. Drinks are not included.
The Hotel
The Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort & Villas is a 5-star high-end hotel with 5 restaurants & bars, an outdoor pool, and a spa. It’s located by the La Cambuse Beach. It also offers free parking, wifi, and bike rentals.
Previous guests have left quite good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.3/5 on Google or 4.5/5 on Tripadvisor), many praising the calm ambience. We couldn’t find any major points of criticism in the reviews.
As mentioned before, the resort is located on La Cambuse Beach on the Indian Ocean. That’s less than 10 minutes away from the airport.
Price Check
Anantara charges roughly €310 for its half-board rate. That means that you’re saving around 18% by booking through LuxuryEscapes. While booking on Anantara has the advantage of being fully refundable up to a week before arrival, including the airport transfer, and not having to stay 5 nights, booking on LuxuryEscapes gets you the one-hour snorkelling excursion and other smaller extras – and is cheaper, of course.
