If you’re travelling to Bali between September and June, you may be interested in staying at the Amarea Resort Ubud. Currently, the hotel is available for only €93/night, including daily breakfast, daily afternoon tea, nightly dinner + cocktail, and a 60-minute massage per adult. For €103/night, you can even spend those nights in a (quite small) suite room. Ubud is located near the center of the island and much more quiet than the busy coastal area.

The deal is available on LuxuryEscapes, as long as you book for at least 3 nights. The Ubud Room is rather small, measuring merely 18 m2, but is quite modern and comfortable. You’ll probably spend a lot of time outside the room anyway, enjoying the resort’s facilities.

The Hotel
The Amarea Resort Ubud by iNi Vie Hospitality is a 4-star luxury resort with an artistic vibe, located a 5-minute drive away from Ubud’s city centre in south-eastern direction. Guests receive both free wifi and free parking. The hotel is a good fit for a retreat into Bali’s hillside.

Previous guests have left very good reviews of the resort (e.g. 4.7/5 on Google, 5/5 on Tripadvisor, or 4.6/5 on Trip.com), many praising the wonderful atmosphere, the great massage, and the peaceful wellness area, with no major points of criticism being made.
Ubud is located near the central highlands of Bali, away from the busy beaches in the south. The city used to be one of the hip and more secluded spots on the island, but is now brimming with tourists, as well. The main sights are the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary with literal hoards of free roaming monkeys and the nearby rice terraces of Tegalalang, probably the most photographed background on the island. Both are a cheap Grab ride away from the hotel, just like the Hindu temple of Goa Gajah.
Price Check
The hotel usually charges around €70 for a room with breakfast. While that’s cheaper than the price on LuxuryEscapes, this deal also gets you nightly dinner and a 60-minute massage per adult. The massage is worth at least €25 per person, so you’re basically paying around €10 for 3 dinners for two (with a cocktail each).

We’d recommend that you always check the price on the hotel’s website first for your desired dates and then decide where you prefer to book.
