With the Summer Rail Pass, you can travel across Slovakia for 7 consecutive days for just €29. This offer is valid for 2nd class travel between July 1 and August 31, 2025.
Unfortunately, there is an additional charge for IC trains and the SuperCity Pendolino. The exact details can also be found on the Slovak railway company’s website.
The website with the offer details is unfortunately not available in English. Therefore, it is highly recommended to use a browser with translation functions – such as Google Chrome.
The ticket can be purchased locally at the ticket counters of ZSSK (Slovak railway company). It is also available online here.

Terms & Conditions
Please note the following conditions:
- You are allowed to use all trains of the Slovak railway throughout Slovakia, but:
- For InterCity trains, an additional payment (according to this site) is required.
- For the SuperCity Pendolino, a surcharge of €1 is required.
- The ticket is non-transferable and is bound to one person.
- The ticket is valid for 7 (€29) or 31 (€49) consecutive days.
- Independent of ticket duration, the last possible date of usage is August 31, 2025.
- The ticket is only valid in second class.
- OBB Railjet trains cannot be used with the ticket. Also, trains of private providers, such as RegioJET, cannot be used with it.

Additionally to this deal, you could also take advantage of the following offers:
- People under 25 years old:
- 1 month for €29 – additionally requires a Junior Card for €15/year
- People aged 26 and over:
- 1 month for €49 – additionally requires a Klasik Card for €39/year
Students under 26 years old and seniors 62 years and older can generally travel for free on ZSSK trains in Slovakia. However, they must register on-site at one of the ticket offices to receive the appropriate “Railcard.” The registration form for students is quite long. More information can be found here:
