Caribbean Princess: 16-Night Cruise from Italy to Florida for €945 pp in November (Outside Cabin)

This November, Princess Cruises is sending its Caribbean Princess back to North America. For that, it will depart from Civitavecchia, near Rome, stop in Spain, Morocco, Madeira, and the Canary Islands, and then cross the Atlantic all the way to Fort Lauderdale. The entire trip takes 16 nights and you can be onboard for only €945 per person in an outside cabin.

The outside cabin is around 16 m² large and has a window (with an obstructed view). You’ll have 2 single beds, which can be combined to form a queen-size bed. Each cabin also comes with its own bathroom with a shower, a safe, a TV, a desk, a refrigerator, and air conditioning.

The cruise includes full-board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), as well as the onboard entertainment and most amenities. Internet and tips are not included but are optional.

The Route

The ship will depart from Italy on November 10 and arrive in Fort Lauderdale on November 26. Here’s the full itinerary:

• November 10: Civitavecchia, Rome (departs at 18:00)
• November 11: Cagliary, Italy (9:00 – 18:00)
• November 12: At sea
• November 13: Malaga, Spain (8:00 – 18:00)
• November 14: Casablanca, Morocco (9:00 – 23:59)
• November 15: At sea
• November 16: Madeira, Portugal (7:00 – 16:00)
• November 17: Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain (8:00 – 17:00)
• November 18 – 25: At sea
• November 26: Fort Lauderdale, USA (arrives at 6:00)

The Ship

While the Caribbean Princess isn’t the most modern ship, it’s definitely among the nicer ones. It entered into service in 2004, but it was refurbished in 2019. It has everything you need: restaurants, pools, bars, cafés, a theatre, shops, a sports park and so on. This is what the cabins look like:

Of course, there is a sanctuary onboard which provides relaxation only to adults, while children take part in planned onboard activities, depending on their age (supervised by professionals).

Flights

Flights are not included in this deal, so Americans will need a flight to Rome, and Europeans a flight back from Florida. Here are some current options, including one piece of luggage:

Your exact flight costs will depend on where you live or want to get to, but generally, it’s safe to say that you should expect costs of around €200-400 for your flights, flying with a piece of checked luggage.
