During the winter season of 2025/2026, the Costa Serena will be traveling on various routes in Asia. Currently, you can book a week-long cruise from Tokyo to Hong Kong at an affordable rate. The price for 7 nights in an interior cabin is €499 per person. If you prefer a different cabin type, you can opt for an outside cabin starting at €769 or a balcony cabin starting at €959 (prices are per person based on double occupancy).
Despite the entire booking process being in English, the travel agency behind it is from Germany, meaning that any communication thereafter will then be in German.

For solo travellers, this cruise in an interior cabin is available from €649, i.e. roughly 30% more. Groups of 3, on the other hand, would pay even less, with an interior cabin starting at only €416 per person. You could even get a balcony cabin for only €722 per person.
Either way, all prices mentioned include full board (all meals) in the main and buffet restaurants, gratuities, as well as access to most onboard facilities and activities.
Two dates are available at the cheapest price:
- November 28 – December 5, 2025
- January 23 – 30, 2026
The Route
The cruise begins in Japan’s capital, Tokyo. After leaving the port, the Costa Serena heads to Kobe, which was the country’s most important port city for several centuries. The journey then continues to Nagasaki, where you will find many European influences.
There is also a stop in South Korea. In Busan, you can visit the Busan Tower during your shore excursion, offering an impressive view of the city. The trip ends with two relaxing sea days before the Costa Serena arrives at the final port in Hong Kong. Since July 1, 1997, Hong Kong, along with Lantao Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, has been a Chinese Special Administrative Region.
