The Route
The cruise starts in New York. It’s worth spending a few days in the city that never sleeps before your cruise begins, giving you more time to explore the numerous sights. The first stop on this route is Port Canaveral. Today, the city has one of the largest cruise ports in the world. If you’re interested in space and aeronautics, you can visit the US Astronaut Hall of Fame and the Air Force Space Museum, which houses over 700 rockets.

The Ship
The MSC Meraviglia was completed in 2017 at the Saint-Nazaire shipyard (construction cost: $900 million) and is 315 meters long and 43 meters wide. The ship has 19 decks and can accommodate nearly 5,500 passengers and 2,200 crew members. It has a total of 11 restaurants (e.g., Spanish & Japanese), 20 bars, 4 pools, and 9 whirlpools. The ship was christened by Sophia Loren.
There are plenty of cultural and recreational offerings, such as the exclusive Cirque du Soleil shows. There’s also a bowling alley, casino, nightclub, 4D cinema, fitness centre, bowling alley, water park, outdoor jogging track, giant slide, and spa. The onboard language is English, and the currency on the ship is the Euro.
