You can currently book a Tropical Pool Villa at the Cape Fahn Hotel – an award-winning boutique beach resort on a private island in Koh Samui – for €360 per night. That price includes breakfast, dinner (or lunch), a massage, nightly cocktails, watersports equipment, airport transfers, and the minibar.

As mentioned before, the villa is huge and comes with a balcony, a bathtub, a TV, Wi-Fi, a complimentary minibar, and views of the garden. The highlight, however, is the private pool.
The airport transfer is included – you simply need to contact the hotel to let them know when to pick you up. Breakfast is included every day (between 7:00 and 11:00), and you can choose if you want to take a complimentary lunch or dinner. The drinks are not included during the meals. However, you do get a free cocktail every day – either at the main Hue restaurant between 9:00 and 22:30 or at the fine-dining Long Dtai restaurant between 17:00 and 18:30.
While the daily lunch/dinner (either a Western or Thai menu) will be served at Hue restaurant, you can dine at Long Dtai once during your stay for no extra surcharge. Also, once during your stay, each adult will receive a free 60-minute massage. They are offered between 10:00 and 21:00.
LuxuryEscapes Cancellation Policy
LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:
- Until 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.
- over 46 days before your stay: You can get a full refund in form of a LuxuryEscapes credit. You won’t get your money back, but can use it to book a different hotel on LuxuryEscapes.
- Less than 45 days before you stay: You won’t get a refund in any form if you cancel or no-show.
The Hotel
The Cape Fahr Hotel is a sophisticated 5-star hotel with villas and free breakfast for all guests. It also has a spa, outdoor pools, and views of the gulf. Both Coengmon Beach and Samui Airport are relatively close by. According to Trip101, it’s the third-best luxury resort in Koh Samui. It’s also been named as the second-best beach island resort by Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific in 2024.

Previous guests have left very good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.6/5 on Google, 5/5 on Tripadvisor, 4.2/5 on Trip.com), many praising the romantic ambience, the stunning architecture, the fabulous dinner at Long Dtai restaurant, the nice complimentary breakfast, the secluded and tranquil villas, and the elegant interior design. There don’t seem to be any recurring points of criticism.
Price Check
While 5 nights with all the mentioned extras would cost you €1,799 when via Luxury Escapes, the hotel itself charges THB 92,360 (~€2,425) for a rate only including the breakfast, transfers, and massage – but not the daily lunch or dinner! Other online travel agencies are somewhat cheaper, charging around €2,050 for a rate that only includes breakfast. But no site is as cheap as LuxuryEscapes – and that’s even though LuxuryEscapes offers the most extras. Depending on the date, you’ll be saving between 15 and 30%.
If you’re a Hilton Honors member, you could also book this hotel using your points. Each night costs 80,000 points. As the 5th night is free, you would need 320,000 points for a 5-night stay, which – if you purchase Hilton points during a sale – has an approximate value of US$1,600 (~€1,363). That would be even cheaper than LuxuryEscapes – though without the extras.
