Strawberry Hotels Promotion: Lots of Hotels in Scandinavia for €87 or Less Until April (Incl. Breakfast)

Clarion Hotel Post Gothenburg rooftop pool

Strawberry Hotels regularly comes up with creative promotions. Currently, the hotel offers 1,000 rooms for 1,000 kr across their entire portfolio. The rates in question are prepaid, non-refundable promotional rates, which include breakfast. These are capped at 1,000 kronors (Danish, Norwegian and Swedish, depending on the hotel’s location), but may be even cheaper.

The promotion runs until January 15, 2025 for stays before April 1, 2025.

Strawberry Winter Promotion

The promotion applies to hotels in the following countries:

1 The Comfort Hotel Xpress brand does not offer breakfast.

While the promotional rate may be sold out for specific nights, it still shows decent availability. Compared to regular rates, possible savings reach from a modest 10% to more than 100% in extreme cases:

Finding these fares is rather easy. Simply follow the link above to the promotional page. There, you can scroll down and enter the region and dates you are looking for (e.g. “Oslo”, or plainly “Norway”) in a search mask. Then, you will be shown all available prices from all participating hotels on your selected dates.

Bottom Line

This is a very good promotion by Strawberry Hotels, as the promotional rates are mostly very attractive. While it’s usually a notable downside if hotels offer prepaid rates during promotions like these, there are two factors that soften the blow. Firstly, the travel period isn’t that long, so it’s reasonable to plan (and pay) just a couple of weeks or months ahead. Secondly, the rates in question are not that high, so even if you (have to) miss out on your booking, it won’t cut that deep into your savings.
