Turkish Airlines is currently offering an interesting promotion for its frequent flyer program, Miles&Smiles. The good news: You’ll get a 30% discount on miles upgrades. The bad news: Only for flights in March to a specific list of destinations. If, however, you happen to have a Turkish Airlines flight booked in March to one of these destinations, this is quite a nice deal – especially as upgrades are quite attractive at Miles&Smiles anyways.
To benefit from this deal, you need to book your upgrade by March 10, 2025. Unlike other programs, Turkish Airlines allows upgrades from all economy booking classes. There merely needs to be upgrade availability in business class. There’s no official rule regarding the availability, but from experience, if booking class J is available, you’ll be able to upgrade your flight.
We believe these destinations to be the most attractive on the list, as these are the long-haul routes where a business-class seat actually makes sense.

Bottom Line
Last year, Miles&Smiles increased the prices for award flights and upgrades. Thanks to this promo, you’re almost getting the pre-devaluation prices back. However, the travel period is ridiculously short, so probably not many will be able to take advantage of this deal. At least the list of destinations offers quite a few attractive routes, especially to Asia.
