Afterward, the Carnival Spirit heads to Cartagena, Colombia. Following a total of 16 nights on board, the cruise ends in New Orleans. You should definitely consider spending one or two nights there before flying back home.

The Ship
The Carnival Spirit was built in 2001 and measures 294 meters in length and 32 meters in width. Its maximum speed is 22 knots. The ship accommodates up to 2,124 passengers (based on double occupancy) and 930 crew members.
Highlights include the two-deck promenade and the Supper Club. Most cabins are ocean view or have a private balcony. There are numerous areas for relaxation onboard, including three pools, a massage and sauna area, a library, and a beauty salon with hairdresser. Those looking to stay active can visit the gym or use the jogging track.



Evening and nighttime entertainment is provided by several bars and lounges, as well as a theatre. The ship also offers a variety of shops and boutiques. The restaurants serve a diverse range of international cuisine for culinary variety.
The onboard language is English, so basic English skills are recommended. Your final bill will be issued in U.S. dollars and can be conveniently settled with standard credit cards at the end of the trip.
