Hamburg: 3-for-2 at the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Starting at €287/Night With Breakfast & Dining Credit

Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg Aussenansicht

The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg (part of the Fairmont chain) is considered one of the best hotels in the city. When booking the Virtuoso rate, you can currently benefit from a 3-for-2 offer. This means you get a double room including breakfast starting at €287 per night. The deal is valid for stays until August 31, 2025.

Breakfast is served either in the restaurant or in your room. You also receive a dining credit of approximately €85-90 and (subject to availability) early check-in, late check-out, and a room upgrade.

The best price is achieved if you stay exactly 3, 6, 9, … nights. You can book the offer easily online via ClassicTravel (free registration required):

Important

When booking via ClassicTravel, make sure to select the Virtuoso Rate, not the Exclusive Virtuoso Rate. On the next booking step, the price of the 3rd night will then be adjusted to €0.

You may also use the booking form below. We’ve highlighted the cheapest dates (up to ~€320/night) in green. With one click, you’ll be redirected to ClassicTravel (free registration but the website looks like it was designed 25 years ago) or ASmallWorld (paid membership required unless you booked a hotel there last year, but the website is pretty):

Info

You can cancel the booking free of charge until 3:00 PM the day before arrival. After that, the first night will be charged.

When booking this promotional rate, you get the following benefits:

  • Daily complimentary breakfast (either in Café Condi or via room service)
  • Roughly €85 – €90 credit for restaurant, bar, etc.
    • For stays of 6+ nights, Virtuoso offers $200 credit, even if not shown on ClassicTravel
  • Room upgrade by one category (based on availability at check-in)
  • Early check-in (subject to availability)
  • Late check-out (subject to availability)

The Hotel

According to HotelStars.eu, the Fairmont Vier Jahreszeiten is one of only eight 5-star hotels in Hamburg—and certainly one of the most iconic. Opened in 1897, it has hosted political figures like Richard Nixon. The hotel offers five restaurants/bistros, including the three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Haerlin. There’s also a rooftop terrace and a wellness area with a sauna. However, there is no pool.

The hotel is located right on the Binnenalster at Jungfernstieg. The location is superb, and if you use up your dining credit, there are many (more affordable) restaurants and bars nearby. Hamburg Central Station is about a 15-minute walk or a bit quicker by S-Bahn.

The hotel has a total of 156 rooms and suites. The lowest category is Deluxe, with 32 m² of space and a king-size bed. The next higher category (which you may get through a free upgrade) offers a view of the Binnenalster instead of the hotel garden. These rooms normally cost nearly €150 more per night, though they’re not larger.

The hotel credit included in the offer can be used for all food, spa treatments, etc., at the hotel. Prices are very high, but €85 would at least cover, for example, a burger with fries, a pasta dish, and two drinks on the rooftop terrace.

Price Comparison

For comparison, we selected a stay from August 17 to 20, 2025. Booked via ClassicTravel, you get 3 nights for a total of €875, including all benefits listed above:

The next best price via Trivago is €978 for a rate without breakfast. With breakfast, it jumps to €1,193. The cancellation policies are the same.

This results in a 27% savings compared to the regular rate, including breakfast. Plus, you get all the additional perks like dining credit, potential room upgrade, and late check-out. All in all, a very solid deal.
